Magnificent sport in majestic mountainous surroundings

Perfect Country

The  Glanusk Estate is a mixture of wild open mountains, steeply wooded valleys and  beautiful rolling parkland  that combine to make Glanusk perfect shooting terrain. Experience wonderful drives like the famous Tan-y-lan, test yourself with skyscrapering pheasants from the Quarry drive or  stand back and marvel at the spectacular sport that  Fishstone can offer with the beautiful River Usk bubbling at your back.

The estate combines three fully keepered beats with completely different attributes. Our top class team of dedicated keepers work tirelessly throughout the year to ensure your day at Glanusk goes without a hitch and is one to truly remember.

The Experience

At our sporting estates, we understand that however good the sport, the warmth of your welcome and the quality of our hospitality, the knowledge and competence of the team are vital ingredients of a successful day.

Days generally begin in the rod room where we will meet for coffee, a breakfast can be arranged on request. we will then move onto shoot two drives before breaking for some sumptious elevenses in the field. We tend to take the main meal on completion of the days sport back into the rod room.

Whilst ensuring the sport that you experience with us is of the highest quality we also understand the importance of the finer aspects of the day that is why you can rest assured the hospitality and food you receive on a day with us will be abgsolutely top draw.

“ We dropped some of the less challenging drives, They've been replaced with more of the high bird drives that show Glanusk off at its best. We're delighted with the results and we'll go further in the future seasons with at least four more drives to extend the most ambitious shots”

“ This is fantastic ground, It's so rare for the setting and the topography to combine so perfectly for shooting. It could have been made for it”
